



Mobile ads account for 80% of Facebook's record revenue

Facebook has notched up another quarter of robust growth, chalking up US$5.84 billion in revenue during the fourth quarter of 2015, a 52% jump from last year's US$3.85 billion.During the period, mobile advertising represented approximately 80% of its overall ad revenue, a 69% leap compared to the same period in 2014. This contributed big towards Facebook's most profitable quarter yet in the company's history."2015 was a great year for Facebook. Our community continued to grow and our business is thriving," Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in a statement."We continue to invest in better serving our community, building our business, and connecting the world."As of December 2015, Facebook reached 1.04 billion daily active users and 934 million daily active users on mobile, a 25% increase year-over-year. Mobile-only monthly active users reached 823 million.
