Mober, Laguna govt partner to expand healthcare via electric mobile pharmacies

Philippine green logistics provider Mober has joined forces with the provincial government of Laguna to improve healthcare accessibility across the province. The partnership introduces two electric three-wheeler tricycles that will function as mobile pharmacies, delivering essential medical supplies directly to residents, particularly those in remote or hard-to-reach areas.
The initiative aligns with Laguna’s ongoing healthcare agenda under Governor Sol Aragones, which focuses on vulnerable populations such as senior citizens and persons with disabilities. During her recent inauguration ceremony, she highlighted several key programmes, including the rollout of free health cards, the development of district hospitals, and the expansion of “Akay ni Sol” pharmacies through mobile units.
“Healthcare is one of our top agendas for Lagunenses, and we are grateful to partners like Mober for enabling our initiatives in making healthcare more accessible to many communities in Laguna,” she said.

Mober founder and CEO Dennis Ng emphasised the role of public-private partnerships in accelerating access to public services. “At Mober, we are proud to support initiatives that bring essential services closer to communities. This small step in partnership with the provincial government of Laguna reflects our adaptability as a logistics partner, whether for businesses or the government, in exploring practical ways to use our electric fleet to address specific needs,” Ng said.
The partnership represents a tangible example of how sustainable logistics solutions can support social impact programmes. By leveraging electric vehicles, Mober aims to complement existing healthcare infrastructure while promoting a cleaner, more environmentally friendly delivery model.
Earlier this year, Mober launched its first international operations in Thailand, partnering with IKEA to handle last-mile deliveries in Bangkok’s Bang Na district. The company deployed a fleet of 21 electric trucks supported by a custom-built 1,600-square-metre charging hub, designed for 150 to 200 daily drops, mirroring a scaled-down version of its 3,000-square-metre hub in the Philippines.
Mober’s model - enabling companies to meet sustainability goals without upfront costs - has gained traction, highlighted by the launch of the Philippines’ first 100% electric tractor head truck for large-scale logistics. To support growth, the company is actively raising funds to expand its fleet in Thailand by early 2026.
As the Philippines’ logistics sector accelerates its shift toward sustainability, Mober has unveiled Central Charge, the country’s largest commercial EV charging hub. Located along D. Macapagal Avenue in Pasay City, the 3,000-square-metre facility supports Mober’s fleet of electric vans and trucks with 56 charging ports and a three-shift system capable of servicing up to 200 EV trucks daily.
In September, Mober hosted the second World Electric Vehicle (EV) Day Forum Philippines in Manila. Themed “Powering up the Philippines to ASEAN leadership through commercial EV,” the event brought together government officials and industry leaders to explore strategies for positioning the Philippines as a key player in the regional EV landscape.
CEO Ng highlighted the company’s commitment to advancing the commercial EV ecosystem through innovation, infrastructure, and workforce development. “From lady drivers to autonomous EVs, from battery swapping to renewable hubs, Mober is not just adapting to the future. We are building it,” he said.
