Mindshare Singapore's managing partner exits

Ivan Wong, managing partner of Mindshare is exiting the agency. He first joined the agency in 2003 and has since took on various roles at leading media agencies such as Starcom, MPG and IPG Mediabrands.

Wong returned to Mindshare in  January 2014 as an EXCO member of the Singapore senior leadership team where  he headed business development plans for the agencies. He was in charge of driving topline revenue growth and managing cost structures for profitability. He also looked over the diversification of the offering and ongoing integration, in content, analytics and insights and digital.

As managing partner, he was responsible for business operations and administrative excellence to drive best in class client implementation support, streamline processes, meet operational and compliance requirements and ensure technology/data systems fully utilized to deliver operational efficiency.

In an email, Wong said:

“The past 2.8 years were perhaps the most fulfilling years of my career; the friendships, partnerships, colleagues, clients, opportunities and support have been 'fan-tabulous', to say the least. So thank you to each and every one of you, whom I’ve had the pleasure to work/meet/acquainted with. I say unequivocally that Mindshare is the place where you do the best work of your career – leaving does not change my belief; rather it is to pursue challenges in a different part of the industry.”
