Mindshare China has appointed Ron Zou as its talent director with immediate effect.
Zou succeeds Michelle Jiang, who has been promoted to chief talent officer for GroupM China. In his new position, Zou will report to Jiang and Mindshare’s Asia-Pacific CEO and executive chair for Greater China, Amrita Randhawa.
“I was impressed by his high level of insights and creativity, as well as his successful background in attracting and retaining the best talents in the industry. Together with Zou, I look forward to continuing developing a future-ready agency with the right skillsets to service our trusted clients, as well as a collaborative and vibrant culture that places our people at the heart of everything we do,” said Randhawa.
Possessing more than 15 years of human resources experience, Zou most recently worked for Starbucks China where – in addition to supporting functional roles – he assisted in developing marketing and digital venture based talent-related initiatives.
Speaking of his appointment, Zou said,” I look forward to leveraging my vast client-side experience to elevate Mindshare’s talent initiatives and continue to develop a future-facing working culture that allows our diverse talents to flourish and shine.”
