Millennium Hotels and Resorts (MHR) has appointed Cinn Tan (pictured) as its new chief commercial officer, tasking her with overseeing the group’s global branding and marketing strategy alongside its broader commercial functions.
The hospitality company is a Hong Leong Group subsidiary of City Developments (CDL).
Based in Singapore, Tan brings over three decades of international hospitality experience spanning Asia Pacific, China, Europe and the United States. She joined MHR in January 2026, following her role as chief commercial and marketing officer at Pan Pacific Hotels Group, where she led integrated commercial functions including branding, loyalty, sales, revenue management, distribution and digital marketing.

In her new role, Tan will lead MHR’s global commercial strategy, with oversight across branding, marketing, loyalty, sales, distribution, revenue management and digital platforms. She will also play a key role in advancing the group’s brand positioning, strengthening customer engagement strategies and driving performance across its international portfolio.
Prior to Pan Pacific, Tan held senior leadership roles at Jin Jiang International and The Ascott Limited, building a track record in advancing commercial capabilities, strengthening brand equity and developing high-performing teams across markets.
Kwek Eik Sheng, executive director of Millennium Hotels and Resorts, said Tan’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for the group as it continues to evolve its global brand. “Cinn is a proven global commercial leader with a strong track record of advancing commercial capabilities and delivering sustainable growth,” he said.
“As Millennium Hotels and Resorts continues its brand evolution and strengthens its global position, she will lead our commercial strategy across key markets to enhance brand alignment, improve performance, and drive strategic long-term value for the group,” he added.
The appointment reflects MHR’s continued focus on strengthening its senior leadership bench as it looks to sharpen its commercial capabilities and support sustained growth across its portfolio of 145 hotels worldwide, including in Singapore, Beijing, Dubai, Auckland, Abu Dhabi, Paris, London, Los Angeles and New York.
In April last year, MARKETING-INTERACTIVE reported that Millennium Hotels and Resorts promoted Carolyn Wishnowski to vice president (VP) of global branding, marketing and loyalty. Prior to her promotion, Wishnowski was the company's director of global branding, marketing and loyalty. She also held a year-long stint at voco Orchard Singapore as its director of marketing communications in 2022.
Before that, Wishnowski was the head of sales and marketing at DreamUs Group in 2021, and the group head of marketing, Asia at Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care in 2016.
