LinkedIn boutique consultancy, Black Marketing has appointed Miguel Bernas (pictured) as chief marketing officer, in a bid to expand the LinkedIn marketing specialists client base in Asia Pacific. Bernas was previously vice president of digital marketing and audience development at Mediacorp. He brings with him over 20 years of experience. He has also held senior marketing positions at major brands such as Singtel, PayPal, Nokia, Yahoo!, CNBC and MTV. Bernas is also currently a media & marketing consultant at Timber Wolf Media.
In addition to a new CMO, the agency has also appointed Jon Jayo as general manager, Bettina Nebermann as country manager for Switzerland and Germany, as well as Sheila Berman as managing director of Black Marketing’s ‘Rock Star’ keynote speaker bureau. Jayo previously worked with Etihad and Qatar Airlines. He will now be responsible for managing Black’s 35 staff. Meanwhile, Nebermann has had stints at brands and agencies such as Unilever, WPP, Heineken, Pernod Ricard, Seagram, Philip Morris and Club Med.
