At the launch of the company’s Mercedes-Benz C350e, Mark Raine, vice president said that despite the tough market, the company is confident of exceeding last year’s figures.
For instance, the year-to-date sales figures for Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has increased by 10% when compared to 2015. Last year, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia achieved 70% growth in year-to-date passenger car sales, selling 8,196 units.
In a statement to The Star, he said, that the company plans on launching two additional two cars by the end of this year despite the market being difficult. He also said the company has invested significantly in upgrading its showrooms while introducing new models into the market with the help of events.
Over this year, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia launched their luxury SUVs, namely GLC, GLE and GLE Coupé at an event called #HungryforAdventure. The event aimed at giving visitors the first hand experience of the cars. Moreover, it significantly organises events for its patrons to keep them lured. The company also recently organised Mercedes Trophy 2016, an exclusive international amateur tournament series for Mercedes-Benz customers, worldwide to experience the passion for perfection through golf.
