MediaCorp OOH Media creates large zodiac fortune wheels

MediaCorp OOH Media is sprucing up two of its more prominent bus shelters’ ad panels with an interactive zodiac fortune wheel to usher in the Year of the Goat.

Running from 13 February until 4 March, two 6-sheet panels were transformed into large zodiac fortune wheels featuring 3D cut-outs, a secured rotating wheel mechanism and LED lighting at the bus shelters outside Midpoint Orchard and Far East Plaza. Members of the public are able to spin the wheel to their Chinese zodiac sign to read more about their fortune for the year of the Goat.

Using TODAYonline app’s SNAP function, people can snap a picture of their zodiac and participate in the contest to win a Chinese New Year festive hamper. The SNAP functionality combines image trigger capabilities and a patented image recognition technology.

Henry Goh, head of MediaCorp’s OOH Media, said,”This Chinese New Year campaign demonstrates that our outdoor medium is a great way to engage the audience and advertisers can look forward to more of such opportunities from OOH Media to continue to liven up Singapore’s streetscape.”

The fortune predictions are provided by grand master Phang, chief executive officer of Yuan Zhong Siu (缘中秀).
