Mediabrands announced today that UM Spain’s Strategy, Insights and Analytics Partner, Pablo Gomez (pictured), has been promoted to the role of regional communications planning director, IPG Mediabrands, APAC. Gomez will be based in Singapore and will report to Natalie Pidgeon, chief strategy officer, IPG Mediabrands APAC.
Gomez will provide renewed support to the core brands of UM and Initiative. His role will focus on integrated strategy, creative output, communications planning, and thought leadership. Gomez will join the Asia Pacific team from Spain where he has been at UM since 2011. In the last three years, he has done work with Microsoft and J&J.
Natalie Pidgeon welcomed Gomez to the team, citing his “impressive ability to work with data and insights to develop communication strategies that align with business and brand objectives.”
