Media Prima gets new chairman

Malaysian media conglomerate Media Prima Bhd has re-designated Datuk Seri Fateh Iskandar Mohamed Mansor as its chairman.He replaces Tan Sri Johan Jaafar, who is also the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission consultation and prevention panel chief,according to a Bernama report. The appointment is effective on 1 September 2015. Johan will resign on Aug 31, 2015.Media Prima has noted Fateh Iskandar  as its group managing director and chief executive officer of Glomac Bhd in a filing to Bursa Malaysia this week, added the article.It also said it has appointed Raja Zaharaton Raja Zainal Abidin as its new independent and non-executive director.She currently sits on the board of Big Tree Outdoor Sdn Bhd and Primeworks Studios Sdn Bhd, both wholly-owned units of Media Prima.
