The Marketing Excellence Awards is Hong Kong’s main event recognising excellence across the marketing communications services industry. It is far more than simply acknowledging the great campaigns of the year; it is also about rewarding exceptional talent that keeps pushing the industry forward. For the third straight year, AIA International won the coveted title of Marketer of the Year.

AIA International took home 12 awards and the title of “Marketer of the Year” as the biggest winner of the night. The insurance company’s “‘DNA’ - Transformation Journey powered by Omni-Channel Ecosystem” campaign clinched three gold awards in Excellence in CX/UX, Excellence in Digital Marketing, and Excellence in Innovation. The campaign also won bronze in the category of Excellence in Mobile Marketing.

Meanwhile, the AIA iTravel Protect Campaign won three gold awards in the categories of Excellence in Data-Driven Marketing, Excellence in Programmatic Marketing and Excellence in Use of Technology; it also won one silver award in the Excellence in Insurance Marketing category.

There were 32 categories open for entry, covering a diverse spectrum of marketing disciplines. The awards were judged by an esteemed panel of industry leaders and senior marketers. The winners of the Marketing Excellence Awards represent the very best in the industry. Due to the ongoing pandemic, we moved the traditional grand ceremony to a virtual space this year, and we hope that we will see you all together in person once again next year. Congratulations to all of the winners!
