This could quite possibly be the scariest McDonald’s mascot ever. McDonald’s introduced “Happy,” a new animated Happy Meal character that is said to bring fun and excitement to kids meals, while also serving as an ambassador for balanced and wholesome eating.Happy will encourage kids to enjoy fruits, vegetables, low-fat dairy and wholesome beverages such as water or juice (or at least, scare them into it).And as if broccoli wasn’t scary enough for kids, here's what Happy looks like:https://twitter.com/McDonalds/status/468466673784455169When McDonald’s unveiled its mascot for children’s meals Twitter comments were anything but positive for the fast food giant.
