McCann Worldgroup has appointed DDB APAC’s digital chief Patrick Rona as its new digital lead. Rona will join by 5 January 2015.
Previously he was chief digital officer of DDB Asia Pacific and president Tribal DDB Asia Pacific. Before moving to the region in 2012, Rona was Tribal DDB’s EMEA regional president and chief digital officer at DDB for EMEA, based out of London.
He has more than 15 years of experience in digital space, and has been tasked to strengthen McCann’s digital capabilities as well as develop marketing programmes for the network’s clients across Asia Pacific.

Earlier this year, McCann also made key senior hires, appointing WPP’s ex-talent chief Jean Michel Wu; Ali Grayeli as its ECD for Singapore and Robert Doswell to lead its Singapore office.
