McCann Singapore gets new CEO

McCann Singapore has a new CEO as Ben Lightfoot exits.

Robert Doswell, Asia Pacific’s regional managing director of Craft has been named chief executive officer, McCann Singapore.

He takes over on 1 August, effectively, adding on to his responsibilities with Craft. Craft Worldwide is McCann Worldgroup’s production arm.

When asked, a spokesperson for the agency told Marketing: "After three years Ben has decided to leave his current position as CEO at the agency and he'll be taking some time out to spend with his family."

Doswell joined McCann Worldgroup in April 2012 to launch Craft across Asia Pacific. Craft now operates across 8 markets with a team of almost 200 people in Asia Pacific, and clients include OCBC, Maxis and L’Oreal.

Prior to joining McCann, Doswell was vice president of Ogilvy’s integrated creative and production company, Ogilvy RedWorks and managing director of the Singapore RedWorks operation. He joined Ogilvy Advertising Singapore in 2001, moved to the boutique start up, Ogilvy RedCard, in 2002 and was made general manager and subsequently, managing director of Ogilvy RedCard.
