McCann CEO Raul Castro inducted into the Management Association of the Philippines

Raul Castro, Chairman and CEO of McCann Worldgroup Philippines, the country’s leading marketing communications solutions company, was formally inducted into the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) at a recent MAP General Membership Assembly.

Castro’s entry into the MAP highlights the importance of marketing communications solutions in Philippine business. Castro’s membership brings into the organization McCann’s brand of creativity in managing business and crafting solutions for clients.

Under his leadership, McCann has produced winning campaigns such as Coca-Cola’s latest record-breaking “The Happiest Thank You” video; the award-winning “The OFW Project;” and the 2014 Cannes-winning radio campaign for the Philippine Cancer Society. Pioneering digital-led campaigns, such as the “I Love You Anak” campaign for the Inter-Country Adoption Board, which sought to reverse the stigma on adoption, and the “Sarap Maging Pilipino” Independence Day campaign for Jollibee, also came to fruition under his headship.

Castro is holder of a wide range of creative and effectiveness awards from local and international competitions and award-giving bodies, such as the Cannes Lions, Ad Fest, New York Festivals, Advertising and Marketing Effectiveness Awards, Tambuli Awards, Kidlat Awards, and Boomerang Awards. He is also a Lifetime Achievement Awardee of the Creative Guild of the Philippines, one of the youngest recipients of this recognition.
