M&C Saatchi Malaysia has made two new key hires. Gabriel Camargo has come on board as strategic planning director and Meredith Wallace as head of digital strategy and social media.
Hailing from Brazil, Camargo has numerous experiences in strategic planning and business intelligence for brands such as Petrobrás, Amazon and Pepsi to name a few. His expertise comes at the right time for M&C Saatchi Malaysia, as the agency moves forward to push for more effective and integrated campaigns for its clientele.
Prior to her appointment, Wallace who is from the United States was former group head of social Media at Lion & Lion Malaysia where she was pivotal in the agency’s rapid growth and wins. Handling a wide range of brands that include L’Oreal, Google and Coca Cola, her strengths will further drive digital and social media initiatives for M& C Saatchi Malaysia.
Both Camargo and Wallace will spearhead their respective teams as the agency gears up to meet the demands of an industry that has clearly evolved particularly in digital, mobile as well as social media.
In 2016, M&C Saatchi coveted Gold at the A+M Agency of the Year awards for Digital Agency of the Year and Social Media Agency of the Year, as well as for Creative Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility.
