Maxis improves offerings with new plans

Maxis has launched its Home Wireless Internet and Maxis Wireless Broadband plans.

The Home Wireless Internet is targeted at families and students, while the Maxis Wireless Broadband plan is targeted at students, young executives and professionals who are constantly on-the-go as the package imposes no speed limit and includes free additional internet quota from 2am to 8am.

“We realised different people have different demands so we decided to come up with these two packages,” Ebru Dorman (pictured centre), head of home and broadband, told A+M.

The packages also come with a free Wifi modem and a cordless DECT phone as well as free allocated minutes to fixed and mobile numbers nationwide,

Above-the-line ads will kick off nationwide today with the tagline “WiFi Your Home”.

“Maxis has about 700,000 stand-alone internet subscribers today and aims to reach its 1 million mark over the next 12 months,” says Mark Dioguardi (pictured right), joint chief operating officer at Maxis.
