Mattel Indonesia has extended its partnership for the four year running with the digital agency Ydigital Asia for another 12 months. The scope is for digital and covers social media strategy and management, content creation, media planning and buying, as well as seasonal tactical campaigns.
The appointment is for all Mattel’s brands, including household names such as Barbie, Fisher-Price, Hot Wheels and Thomas & Friends.Among the achievements in 2018 was winning the Silver Button for Thomas & Friends Youtube Channel Indonesia. The channel has been set up for local audience with all videos dubbed in Bahasa Indonesia.
The agency has also won new accounts such as GSMA, Singapore Institute of Management and Belkin. CEO of Ydigital Asia Indonesia, Fredrik Johansson said that “we are equal parts proud and humbled that Mattel stays with us. Five years with the same agency is rare in 2019 and I believe a main reason is that our team genuinely loves toy brands and never back down from a challenge.
