As coffee culture continues to flourish among Hong Kong consumers, Mastercard is expanding its collaboration with LUBUDS Group through the ‘A cup full of rewards’ scheme, in partnership with Blooms Coffee.
This initiative aims to stimulate local spending and support growth in the dining sector by connecting grassroots merchants with the city’s vibrant community of coffee enthusiasts.
As part of the scheme, Mastercard cardholders will enjoy exclusive offers, further enriching their coffee experiences while contributing to the development of Hong Kong’s café scene.
Helena Chen, senior vice president and general manager, Hong Kong and Macau, Mastercard, said, “Mastercard is committed to joining forces with its merchant partners to create value for cardholders while supporting Hong Kong’s diverse industries. This aligns with Mastercard’s role as an enabler that creates synergies and promotes win-win opportunities for all stakeholders."
"The ‘A cup full of rewards’ scheme in collaboration with Blooms Coffee aims to create a ripple effect across the retail and dining industries, further encouraging local spending in the run-up to the year-end shopping and dining season. Leveraging Mastercard’s leadership in the payments industry, this initiative also plays an important role in driving Hong Kong’s economic rejuvenation," she added.
In addition, Mastercard is rolling out the final phase of this year’s golden rewards lucky draw campaign, part of its commitment to distribute over HK$4 million in spending credit throughout the year.
From now until 31 December, Mastercard cardholders who make a single transaction of over HK$300 on Mondays to Fridays at Central Market, Times Square, Cityplaza, apm or K11 Musea; or a single transaction of over HK$500 on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays at the same locations, can enjoy one of the following ‘A cup full of rewards’ offers upon presenting the same-day original eligible receipt at the Blooms Coffee store located within the participating mall.
During the same period, Mastercard cardholders who make transactions with an eligible Mastercard card at any merchant via any payment method will be awarded a chance to enter the lucky draw for a grand prize of HK$388,888 in spending credit. As with earlier phases, Mastercard cardholders can earn additional lucky draw chances by spending in designated categories.
To cater to the strong consumer demand for outbound travel, Mastercard will continue to reward Hong Kong and Macau cardholders with 15 lucky draw chances for every eligible transaction made at overseas physical merchants.
Given frequent travel between Hong Kong and Macau, Mastercard also continues to offer cardholders from both cities additional lucky draw chances. During the promotional period, every eligible transaction made at Macau physical merchants by Hong Kong cardholders will yield 20 lucky draw chances, while Macau cardholders can similarly earn 20 lucky draw chances when conducting eligible transactions at Hong Kong physical merchants.
Hong Kong and Macau cardholders can also enjoy 10 lucky draw chances for eligible transactions at local dining merchants and five lucky draw chances for local public transport transactions.

The golden rewards lucky draw campaign started in April this year, with the first two phases of the campaign concluded at the end of June and September, respectively. To date, Mastercard has distributed 1,260 prizes with a total spending credit value of HK$1,868,880.
Mastercard data indicates the overall number of transactions using Mastercard cards (via any payment method) increased by nearly 9% compared to the same period last year. Among these, the number of local and cross-border card-present transactions rose by 6% and 28% respectively, while that of local dining transactions grew by approximately 9% year-on-year.
