Marriott International Philippines is stepping up its wedding marketing strategy with the launch of its first dedicated wedding campaign in the country, positioning the Philippines as a world-class destination for couples while leveraging its loyalty ecosystem to extend customer engagement beyond the wedding day.
Called "Where love takes you," the campaign marks Marriott International Philippines' nationwide initiative focused not only on showcasing its portfolio of hotels, but also promoting the Philippines' landscapes, culinary experiences and hospitality as compelling reasons for couples to celebrate their weddings locally.
The campaign was unveiled during an exclusive event at AC Hotel by Marriott Manila on 15 July in partnership with wedding industry veteran Marbee Shing-Go, founder of Let's Celebrate, bringing together wedding suppliers and members of the media.

According to Marriott, the initiative reflects changing consumer expectations, with modern couples increasingly seeking personalised celebrations and meaningful destinations rather than traditional large-scale weddings.
Shing-Go, whose career has centred on the Philippine wedding industry, said the partnership is intended to elevate both local wedding professionals and the country's appeal as a destination.
"I have spent much of my career celebrating the people who make Philippine weddings extraordinary, so this partnership feels both personal and purposeful. It is a chance to show that love can take you to beautiful places, brilliant creatives, and hospitality that comes from the heart. For me, it is also a way of giving back to an industry I love - and to my Philippines," she said.
"Marbee has long been an advocate for the Philippine wedding industry. Together, we share the same goal of upholding the country as a top-notch wedding destination and putting us on the map of world-class stops for tying the knot," Lala Quilantang, market director for sales and distribution at Marriott International Philippines, added.
Beyond destination marketing, Marriott is using the campaign to highlight its Marriott Bonvoy loyalty programme as a tool for maintaining relationships with customers throughout multiple life milestones.
Couples hosting weddings at participating Marriott properties can earn points redeemable for hotel stays and dining experiences, allowing them to use rewards for occasions such as honeymoons, anniversaries and other celebrations. The programme also extends benefits to wedding planners through Marriott Bonvoy Events, enabling them to earn points, airline miles and Elite Night Credits.
JM Sequihod, director of field marketing at Marriott International Philippines, said the campaign was designed to reinforce long-term customer engagement.
"This is precisely where our campaign is anchored - our loyalty programme that extends to the most important milestones of our guests. A wedding is not only a moment where love begins, but a reminder of how far it can take you. With this initiative, we turn them into the start of a lifetime of experiences and where milestones are more rewarding," he said.
The campaign also showcases Marriott International's diverse hotel portfolio across the Philippines, ranging from city venues such as Manila Marriott Hotel, Clark Marriott Hotel and The Westin Manila to beachfront destinations including Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort, Four Points by Sheraton Boracay and Four Points by Sheraton Palawan Puerto Princesa.
Sequihod said Marriott's breadth of brands enables it to cater to different wedding styles while maintaining a consistent hospitality experience.
"What sets Marriott apart is the breadth of choice and the consistency of our hospitality."
As part of the launch, Marriott collaborated with several Philippine wedding industry partners, including Amelia Blossoms for venue styling, Destileria Limtuaco & Co. for beverage experiences, Buzz and Brew Manila for specialty coffee, and BK Pro Audio Visual & Lighting for production.
The campaign also extended to the Let's Celebrate Expo held on 18-19 July at SPACE at One Ayala in Makati City, where Marriott Bonvoy showcased its wedding packages and loyalty offerings to prospective couples.
From AI-powered marketing and the friction economy to retention-led growth, DMA Philippines 2026 on 29 September in Manila will bring together marketers to tackle the opportunities and challenges shaping the next phase of digital transformation.
