MARKies finalists announced

Marketing magazine today has unveiled the finalists for 28 contestable MARKies categories.
140 entries made the cut this year, from the close to 300 entries received, setting the stage for one of the fiercest MARKies contests ever.
This year’s awards will see the crowning of the first Overall Creative Ideas MARKie and Overall Best Use of Media MARKie winners, awarded to the agencies with the highest overall scores in the creative ideas and media usage areas respectively.
With sights set on that, some of the agencies are entering the awards with entries in multiple categories including ZenithOptimedia with 21, Mindshare with 15 and 13 for MediaCom Singapore.
42 agencies are in the running for the MARKies trophies including GOODSTUPH, Grey Group, Ogilvy and Vocanic.
Entries were short-listed and judged by a panel of senior client-marketers hailing from brands such as Adidas, HTC, P&G and Zalora. Winners will be announced during the Agency of the Year Awards gala dinner at the Shangri-La Hotel on 15 May.
