Marketing Event Awards 2022: Shortlist announced

It's been a continuous roller coaster adventure for event marketers, but that didn't stop finalists at this year's Marketing Event Awards 2022 from going above and beyond this year with innovative event campaigns and execution.  

Celebrating its tenth edition, the Marketing Events Awards is ready to recognise and reward the very best in event marketing and production across South Asia, Southeast Asia and ANZ regions. Out of 40 categories open for entry, this year saw the addition of two new categories, Best Incentive Event/Programme and Best Use of Tech.

The most successful agencies and marketers across all relevant categories will be awarded the Event Agency of the Year 2022 and Event Marketer of the Year 2022.

The awards were judged by an independent panel of 28 client-side marketers. Jury members, Xuan Pham, senior director, head of marketing and communications, Cushman & Wakefield Vietnam, commented that “it must have been nothing short of a challenge to create all these wonderful pieces of work right in the midst of the pandemic".

"I applaud the immense creativity, grit and professionalism the teams demonstrated to stay connected and to deliver the best work in one of the most impossible periods in history. It was a great pleasure to be among the judging panel and I wish all the teams great outcomes,” she said.

Another member of the panel, Shaminda Perera, head of marketing, Reckitt Sri Lanka, said, “The standard of the entries were very high and it was encouraging and inspiring to see such a wide range of skills and breadth of work. Each entry displayed a coherent, compelling strategy for improving great business results”.
