Marketing Magazine, the region’s leading source of intelligence for marketers, agency, media and digital professionals, has appointed Carlos Bruinsma to helm the content team as Editor.
Responsible for content across online daily news platforms, the monthly print title and collaborating on content across Marketing’s highly regarded conferences and awards programmes, Bruinsma is an experienced online and print journalist with global experience.
Bruinsma is a journalist and communications professional with varied experience working across the industry in Australia, Europe and Asia. Prior to joining Marketing, he was with b2b publication HR Magazine in Hong Kong.
“Carlos has good depth of experience as a writer and editor with a unique understanding of online content delivery and strategy. He now needs to use that experience to make Marketing even more relevant, widely read and respected,” said Tony Kelly, Lighthouse Independent Media’s MD for Hong Kong and Mainland China.

Based in Hong Kong, Bruinsma will be working closely with the Marketing editorial teams both in HK and across Asia to deliver news, analysis and thought provoking insight. Additionally Bruinsma will provide support and feedback to the Marketing production team to produce the best of breed conferences and events.
