Manulife has appointed Rose Luk (pictured) as head of marketing technology, Asia, marking a strategic addition to its regional marketing leadership team.
With over 15 years of digital marketing experience across the insurance, banking, and agency sectors, Luk brings a diverse background spanning data-driven marketing, technology integration, and cross-market campaign management.
Prior to joining Manulife, Luk served as director of group digital marketing at Prudential, where she led the rollout of data-driven marketing frameworks across 10 markets. Before her role at Prudential, Luk spent over three years at AIA as customer ecosystem and experience marketing lead within the group customer and digital marketing team.
Her appointment comes shortly after Manulife expanded its Greater China leadership team with the appointments of Celia Ling as chief marketing officer for Greater China, and Alice Ma as chief marketing officer for Hong Kong and Macau.
Together, these leadership moves aim to reinforce Manulife’s regional position and maximise customer value across Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau by driving integration, scale, and business impact.
Meanwhile, Manulife also bolstered its AI offerings by hiring Hongjuan Liu as chief AI and data officer for Hong Kong and Macau, supporting the establishment of Hong Kong as an AI centre of excellence. As AI and data continue to evolve rapidly, this strategic move builds on momentum following the successful re‑domiciliation of Manulife.
This expansion also includes the posting of Mark Czajkowski, chief AI officer, Asia, to Hong Kong, underscoring the company’s continued commitment to strengthening its AI leadership and adoption across the region and reinforcing the city’s role as an international financial centre and a hub for AI development.
