Martech firm MaLogic has appointed Leo Wong as managing partner and CEO of its media division. Having previously served as CEO of Mindshare Greater China and CEO of Modern Media Group, Wong has been brought on board as an experienced hand to guide the company’s media-related business. “Media has a new definition. It is no longer a channel or message-carrier,” said Leo. “I am excited to see how media can be an integral part of the MarTech solutions provided by MaLogic.” Co-founded by Eliza Wong, former CEO of Synovate and former Ogilvy HK chairman, Royce Yuen, MaLogic’s initial launch was kept quiet for two years before an official announcement was made in 2017. The firm notably won a competitive pitch in 2018 to be appointed by Asia International School Limited (AISL) - the operator of Harrow International School in this region - to conduct an extensive research and branding study to facilitate its expansion plan. “Leo has abundant experience across the full spectrum of media from traditional to digital, he fits perfectly to our team that is offering end-to-end business solutions from big data and video analytics to integrated brand experience,” said Eliza Wong, Co-CEO of MaLogic. “Leo and I worked together as one team before the separation of media and creative in our industry,” said Dr Royce Yuen, Co-CEO of MaLogic. “In the digital age, the focus is on nurturing the true partnership between the brand and its users which will demand an inter-disciplinary approach. I am thrilled to team up with Leo again to drive our business forward.”
