Malaysia Airports (Niaga) (MAN) has appointed MullenLowe Malaysia as its agency partner to take on creative, communications and digital assignments. This followed a pitch which called for a “significant brand refresh”, in a bid to aligned brand strategy with the company’s vision and mission. The appointment is effective immediately.
According to Nizfaraz Noor, business group head for MullenLowe Malaysia, in addition to the digital and creative duties, MAN also wanted a communication strategy that engaged its target audience at a more personal level. As such, MullenLowe Malaysia will look to redevelop MAN’s brand repositioning, from concepts and application all the way to web development.
“MAN is exactly the kind of ambitious partner MullenLowe is excited to work with. It gives the agency the opportunity to develop work that goes beyond traditional deliveries. In today’s marketing environment, it is important that the agency has a handle on work that permeates every marketing and communication touch point,” Adrian Sng, managing director, MullenLowe Malaysia, said.
MAN, also known as Eraman Malaysia, is a subsidiary of Malaysia Airports Holdings. It is a travel and retail brand which operates more than 50 retail and F&B outlets throughout Kuala Lumpur, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Penang, Langkawi and Labuan airports.
