M&M's has released a chocolate-themed Chinese New Year music video featuring Cantopop singer Jackson Wan (尹光) to spread blessings and happiness to the audience in anticipation of the upcoming Year of the Dragon.
The song, titled “你最紅”, is an all-new remake of the popular Cantopop duo, Twins’ classic Chinese New Year’s song “You Are the Hottest” (你最紅).
The two-minute music video features Wan bringing bags of M&M’s chocolates to share blessings and happiness with the audience. He styles in his classic explosive hairstyle from his signature song “少理阿爸” and raps along with local DJ Sammy Leung (森美), who voiced over as M&M’s classic character “Red” (阿紅).
Wan has also joined the dragon and lion dance performance, aiming to bring joy and a Chinese New Year vibe to every family.
According to M&M's, Wan’s merry and playful singing, coupled with interesting and catchy lyrics, aims to win the hearts of young netizens and become one of the most viral Chinese New Year songs of the Year of the Dragon.

To attract younger audiences, local brands have been incorporating Wan into their campaigns. Back in January, telco brand 3 Hong Kong collaborated with creative advertising agency Madkids Communications to launch a video campaign featuring Wan, highlighting the key messages that every family member can enjoy me-time using its 5G Broadband solution.
Furthermore, HKTVmall went all out with music marketing in November last year by recreating an old song from local singer Wan, as the second phase of its “Mom-certified!” brand campaign. The new song, titled “Deal 你阿爸”, was remade from Kwong’s old song “少你阿爸".
