Lowe Malaysia appoints ECD

Lowe Malaysia has appointed Zaidi Awang as its new executive creative director, replacing Brandie Tan who has relocated to the Philippines. Awang will be in responsible for the core management, driving the agency's mandate of delivering creative and effective business solutions.Prior to joining Lowe, Awang was with Leo Burnett Malaysia, where he spent eight years leading the team with brands such as Maybank, Petronas, Proton, Celcom, Malaysia Airlines, McDonald's, Dutch Lady, TNB, P&G, Phillip Morris and Sime Darby, to name a few.“Zaidi is easily amongst the best creative brains in the business today – those who understand the critical link between what is creative and what is effective," said Mazuin Zin, managing director of Lowe Malaysia. "We are delighted to have him as part of our top team. In addition to his 20 plus years of proven experience, Zaidi is also a natural at identifying and mentoring promising young creative talent.”
