LOOK SM draws online flak from “Rape” t-shirt

Will you buy a t-shirt that pokes fun at rape?Just in case you’re up for it, retail giant SM has been selling statement shirts that shows just that, and, as expected, has received some serious online flak for it.The uproar was started by Filipino writer and poet Karen Kunawicz who posted this picture of a t-shirt sold at SM Department Store printed with the copy "It's Not Rape, It's A Snuggle With A Struggle."Post by Karen Kunawicz.Thousands online were upset. To date, the Facebook post got 1,566 likes, shared by 4,372 people and created a conversation 183 posts long.A report from GMA News online cited Bullet creative director Robbie Dinglasan who said that the shirt was part of a collection of branded clothes featuring "Boys' Night Out, (BNO)" a popular radio show.However, Sam Gogna aka Sam YG, one of BNO’s hosts, denied that claim on Twitter.The shirt that was posted on Facebook is NOT part of the BNO Tees collection.
