A Malaysian coffee chain, Zawara Coffee, has found itself in hot water after two of its men were arrested by the Sepang police for a marketing stunt.Zawara Coffee group CEO Kamarul Ariff apologised for a stunt where a military utility vehicle was used to promote its coffee. He added that the company had in fact overlooked the fact that it might cause panic. The vehicle was asking members of the public “to take a shot” of its espresso and has been going around town for the past two months. The stunt comes at a point where the Malaysian public is very much on its toes about Islamic State (IS) militants.Just over the weekend ,14 suspected Islamic State militants were detained through raids across Malaysian states.
