The dairy products brand had organised an event called “Hamba Night” which was aimed at getting buyers to purchase medicine free cows. According to local newspaper the Dhaka Tribune, the fashion show called “Danish Dairy Presents Hamba Night” was held over the weekend and saw 45 cows from three dairy firms being paraded down a ramp as bright lights flashed in the background.
The marketing stunt drew a myriad of reactions with some finding it amusing and others calling it âhilariously depressingâ. Several other netizens called it downright insensitive, asking fellow citizens to boycott all Danish Dairy brandâs products.
