LOOK Eid-ul-Adha marketing stunt goes horribly wrong

A recent marketing stunt by dairy brand Danish Dairy in Bangladesh for Eid-ul-Adha has received a fair amount of backlash.The dairy products brand had organised an event called "Hamba Night" which was aimed at getting buyers to purchase medicine free cows. According to local newspaper the Dhaka Tribune, the fashion show called "Danish Dairy Presents Hamba Night" was held over the weekend and saw 45 cows from three dairy firms being paraded down a ramp as bright lights flashed in the background.The marketing stunt drew a myriad of reactions with some finding it amusing and others calling it “hilariously depressing”. Several other netizens called it downright insensitive, asking fellow citizens to boycott all Danish Dairy brand’s products.Marketing has reached out to Danish Dairy for a statement.Meanwhile take a look at some of the chatter going on online.What is wrong with Bangladesh?
