L'Occitane brings Provence to the table with Shangri-La collab

The allure of Provence has arrived in Singapore as Shangri-La Singapore and L'Occitane en Provence unveil "A pâtisserie afternoon escape", an immersive collaboration that blends French gastronomy with the beauty brand's signature art de vivre.

Running until 2 August at The Rose Veranda, the limited-time experience transforms the hotel's afternoon offering into a celebration of the southern French countryside, inviting guests to savour French-inspired cuisine while surrounded by touches inspired by L'Occitane's heritage.

Designed as a multi-sensory journey, the experience features an elegant spread of French classics including charcuterie, artisan cheeses, foie gras mousseline, Salmon Wellington, Beef Bourguignon and Quiche Lorraine, alongside handcrafted pastries, macarons, madeleines, crème brûlée and canelés.

A dedicated L'Occitane-inspired dessert station further ties the culinary experience to the beauty brand's Provençal roots.

The collaboration extends beyond the dining table through a series of branded touchpoints aimed at enhancing the guest experience. Diners will receive complimentary L'Occitane gifts, beauty sachets and vouchers while stocks last, with the first 100 guests each month also taking home a travel-sized gift set.

To encourage participation throughout the campaign, every paying adult will also receive an entry into a lucky draw featuring more than SG$10,000 worth of prizes. The grand prize includes a two-night stay at Shangri-La Paris alongside L'Occitane products, with additional prizes comprising stays at Shangri-La Singapore, dining experiences and curated beauty sets.

The collaboration is the latest example of luxury brands blurring the lines between retail, hospitality and experience. Increasingly, beauty labels are moving beyond the store counter to create immersive environments that allow consumers to experience a brand's identity through cuisine, scent, design and service.

Singapore has emerged as fertile ground for such partnerships. From Sisley Paris' rose-inspired afternoon tea at Shangri-La Singapore to Jo Loves' collaboration with Marina Bay Sands and Sulwhasoo's branded café at Sofitel Singapore City Centre, hospitality has become an increasingly popular canvas for brands seeking to build deeper emotional connections with consumers.
