Lion & Lion opens up in Jakarta

Lion & Lion digital agency has added a Jakarta office to its South East Asian network, following the agency’s success in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Hong Kong and Manila.The agency’s client roster includes IKEA, Reckitt Benckiser, AXA, Air Asia, SingTel and dtac (Telenor).Boye Hartmann (pictured), appointed managing director, is tasked to run Lion & Lion’s Jakarta office and grow operations in what is the biggest market in the region.Hartmann counts 25 years of global experience in marketing and advertising, including time with Grey (WPP), Dentsu and Ericsson.  As Lion & Lion’s mobile and mobile marketing expert, he has started numerous on-and-offline businesses and has helped start-ups across Europe become profitable business entities.He tells A+M that the Jakarta office is necessary even though Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia are within close proximity, the people, culture and consumer behaviours differ.“As a results-driven agency, our goal is to help clients meet their advertising objectives through tailored digital solutions.
