LinkedIn has picked Alibaba as the top company to work for in China, according to its top companies list.
The is the first time LinkedIn has brought its top companies ranking to China. The annual list is compiled by studying which companies job-seekers admire and want to work for in the long-term, according to LinkedIn’s announcement.
LinkedIn’s editorial team and data scientists also analyse the behaviours of Chinese users in four ways, such as the level of interest in a company, interaction with the company’s employees, job demand, and retention rates of employees.
Conducted between 1 February 2018 and 31 January 2019, the study only includes companies with more than 500 employees, and companies that have seen staff numbers show positive growth or remained flat in the past 12 months
