In line with the nation's festivities, Lifebuoy Singapore has unveiled a collection of National Day-inspired GIFs through a music video on Instagram. The video was uploaded on Instagram Stories and features "Ah Boys to Men" actor and local rapper, Tosh Zhang.
In the video, Zhang and several kids including influencer Bong Qiu Qiu's daughter demonstrated the use of Lifebuoy's hand sanitiser. The kids in the video rapped along to Zhang's music as they followed his moves in rubbing their hands together to promote proper hygiene habits.
Launched yesterday, the video was conceptualised by social media agency GOODSTUPH, and was also shared on Lifebuoy Singapore’s Facebook page. At the time of writing, the video has garnered over 120,000 views.
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has supported the GIFs by using them on his Instagram post. A statement said that the collection of 20 GIFs have also garnered over 15 million views in less than 24 hours. It also trended on Instagram stories' default GIF search page, according to GOODSTUPH's statistics.
