Legoland has appointed Coca-Cola as its official beverage partner, in line with Coca-Cola’s commitment to the market and RM1 billion investment plans in the country.
“Malaysia has tremendous business potential for Coca-Cola and to unlock it, we need to be where our customers and consumers are. Looking at how Legoland Malaysia has been drawing in the crowds, we know we have to be here as well and by doing so we can grow together with our partners,” said Amit Oberoi (pictured right), Coca-Cola’s Bottling Investment Group for Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei’s chief executive officer.
Siegfried Boerst, general manager of Legoland Malaysia, said, as Coke has long established itself as among preferred beverage brand by consumers, the partnership will enhance the value proposition for the park’s visitors.
Coca-Cola will offer visitors a range of popular brands under its portfolio such as Fanta, Sprite, A&W Sarsaparilla, Heaven & Earth, Dasani mineral water, Vanilla Coke, Coca-Cola Light and Coca-Cola.
Later this year, Legoland is also expected to increase its offering for guests with the opening of the first Legoland Water Park in this region.
