Lee exits Havas to join McDonald's

Daniel Lee, Havas Worldwide Singapore's regional digital director SEA, has left the company to take on the role of director of digital projects McDonald's Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa (APMEA).Lee will be based in Singapore and report to Andrew Knott, regional vice president, digital marketing, McDonald's APMEA.He will be supporting 37 markets across the region and will be tasked with assisting the development and deployment of key merchandising, eCommerce and marketing related digital projects.Lee (pictured) had been with Havas for more than two years and prior to that he worked as digital strategist at Blowfish Investments. He has also held the role of GM, Ogilvy Interactive in Ogilvy New Zealand. in the past.Knott told Marketing that having worked together previously, he has a "genuine appreciation" of Lee's capabilities."I believe he will bring his natural energy and enthusiasm and deep functional knowledge to this strategically important role. I'm confident that Daniel will be a great addition to the McDonald's APMEA marketing team and will only help to accelerate our digital development," he added.Knott was previously Euro RSCG (now rebranded as Havas Worldwide)  Asia Pacific's chief digital officer, a role Lee took on after the departure.
