Lazada Philippines relaunches LazGrow Together to boost MSME growth

Lazada Philippines has expanded its collaboration with government agencies and relaunched its LazGrow Together programme as it steps up efforts to help Filipino MSMEs establish and scale their businesses through eCommerce.

The initiative forms part of Lazada's broader strategy to position itself not only as an online marketplace, but as a long-term growth partner for local businesses by providing structured onboarding, educational resources and tools aimed at improving seller readiness and sustainable growth.

Relaunched under the theme "Grow your brand on Lazada," LazGrow Together is built around three pillars: encouraging entrepreneurs to embrace digital commerce with confidence, supporting them through guided onboarding and partner-led education, and equipping them with data, tools and marketplace access to help grow their businesses.

The programme aims to help MSMEs both enter online retail and expand sustainably by enabling them to "sell right and sell wide" within a trusted marketplace.

The relaunch comes as Lazada strengthens partnerships with the department of science and technology (DOST), the department of trade and industry (DTI) and Go Negosyo to expand digital commerce opportunities for Filipino entrepreneurs.

Since October 2025, the company said it has participated in more than 10 partnership events centred on digital upskilling, marketplace readiness and seller onboarding. These initiatives have reached more than 300 aspiring brands and sellers, while Lazada also sees further opportunities through DOST's network of over 7,000 MSMEs nationwide.

To further support new sellers, the company has introduced practical enablement tools, including an Excel-based calculator designed to help entrepreneurs better understand pricing strategies, profit margins and overall profitability when selling online.

The company added that more partnership programmes are currently being developed as part of its longer-term MSME agenda.

Alongside seller enablement, Lazada is also reinforcing its positioning as a trusted marketplace through LazMall, its platform for verified brands and official stores, which it said helps businesses strengthen consumer trust, brand equity and long-term credibility.

"MSMEs drive the Philippine economy, and our responsibility is to ensure they are fully equipped to thrive in the digital arena," said Carlos Barrera, CEO of Lazada Philippines. "Through the LazGrow Together initiative and our vital partnerships with key institutions, we are proudly shaping a more inclusive, empowered, and dynamic digital marketplace for Filipino businesses."

Lazada said it will continue working with government agencies and ecosystem partners as digital adoption accelerates across the Philippines, with the aim of expanding access to eCommerce opportunities for more local entrepreneurs.
