Lazada engages 6 influencers to manifest different dimensions of its brand identity

Lazada has collaborated with six local influencers on Instagram to embody what it stands for as a brand. This is as part of its refreshed brand identity, said the company in a statement to Marketing. The four different dimensions to the rebrand are playful, daring and bold, insatiable and desirable, and limitless.

The move aims to help the eCommerce platform identify with its customers and encourage them to “go where their hearts beat and live out their desires towards a more fulfilling life”.

Content creator Preetipls was chosen to manifest the playful dimension and one of her sponsored posts has garnered over 1,280 likes within two days.

For the daring and bold dimension, tattoo artist Victoria Woon and competitive race car driver Claire Jedrek are chosen. Jedrek is also a mother, co-owner of Karting Arena and motor sports presenter.

Caxsandra Tan, a muay thai boxer and competitive wake surfer, is meanwhile handpicked to represent the brand’s insatiable and desirable personality. It has attracted over 1,000 likes in less than half a day.

Meanwhile, professional ballet dancer and co-founder of BalletBody Alison Carroll as well as musician Sandra Riley Tang are chosen to manifest the limitless factor. Riley’s post saw over 3,300 likes in half a day.
