Laikar leaves Reputation to join AirAsia

Aziz Laikar (pictured), chief operating officer of public relations consultancy Reputation Mercatus Malaysia has left the company to join AirAsia.Laikar's last day at the firm is tomorrow and he will be starting in his new role at AirAsia in October, as its PR manager.He started off in public relations with Naza Group of Companies before switching Reputation Mercatus.Laikar has worked on brands such as Red Bull Malaysia, Ho Hup Construction, Magna Prima, Ferrari, Harley Davidson, Khazanah Merdeka Series and CIBA Vision among others.In his new role, he will be reporting to Jasmine Lee, head of commercial at AirAsia. Meanwhile, it is known that Reputation Mercatus Malaysia is currently looking for a replacement."It is an honour to be working with AirAsia given the nature of the business as well as its culture," Laikar told Advertising+Marketing.
