Ketchum, Gillette win big at PR Awards 2015

Procter & Gamble’s Gillette was named Best of Show – Brand at Marketing’s PR Awards on Friday evening, while the prestigious the Best of Show – Agency was awarded to Ketchum.

Gillette snatched three awards including two gold and one silver to take the overall award, while another P&G brand SK-II won multiple awards.

Ketchum secured the overall award for its worth with P&G, taking four awards including two Gold in Best PR Campaign – Consumer and Best PR Campaign – Lifestyle; along with two Silver in Best Engagement – Mass Community and Best Use of Social Media.

This year’s PR awards also saw a strong showing from Hong Kong independent agencies including Plug PR, SPRG, Catch On, Sinclair Communications and Racepoint.

Plug scooped the new award for Nest New Business Team, while Kevin Lam from Sinclair Communications was named PR Star. Edelman’s Sofia Yip took out this year’s Rising Star.

All winners were carefully determined by a panel of senior marketing professionals from leading brands.


A total of 76 trophies were awarded to the city’s best events and campaigns.

The PR Awards 2015 was supported Golden Gate Wine, Peroni, Studio One and the Mira Hong Kong.
