Kenneth Cole, Metro Society to air fashion show fundraiser

US fashion brand Kenneth Cole and Metro Society partnered for a benefit fashion show to raise funds for a cause at Makati Shangri-La Hotel.The Metro Society Benefit TV Special will feature an exclusive 40-piece Autumn/Winter collection from Kenneth Cole and scheduled to hit the airwaves on Friday, 19 December, 12:00 MN exclusively on The Lifestyle Network. Proceeds of the show will fund Philippine projects of TREAT Asia, an organization that aims to effectively deliver HIV/AIDS treatment in Asia and the Pacific.Since 1985, Kenneth Cole has been openly involved in publicly supporting AIDS awareness and research. The brand is considered the first in the fashion industry to do so and uses fashion as a medium to promote socially conscious ads to help fight various causes from AIDS to homelessness.Metro Society and The Lifestyle Network are media assets owned by media conglomerate ABS-CBN Corporation. Metro is a fashion and lifestyle magazine from ABS-CBN Publishing while Lifestyle is a cable television network under one of its subsidiaries, Creative Programs, Inc.Â
