Kelvin Koo exits ADK Singapore

Kelvin Koo, managing director of ADK Connect Singapore is leaving his role. ADK has confirmed the move to MARKETING-INTERACTIVE.

In a statement, Taka Osaki, Southeast Asia CEO of ADK said the agency is appreciative for all the hard work that Koo has done, and he played an integral role in the development of ADK’s digital capabilities and client portfolio.

“Koo shared his passion to pursue something different, after many years in the advertising industry. We supported and wish him the best of success in his new endeavour. ADK Connect Singapore is on track to deliver our growth trajectory and continued focus on digital, backed by client service excellence. We are excited to continue the positive momentum towards 2023,” said Osaki.

Koo first joined the team in January 2021, and was  responsible for the growth strategy of the agency's Singapore office, developing new offerings in consulting and digital solutions focused on direct-to-consumer. According to Koo, at that point, the goal is for the agency to offer solutions that connect marketing performance and customer experiences to business results.

To achieve this, the agency will tap on Koo's expertise and experience to integrate its offerings across creative and production, performance media, data analytics, social, content and lifecycle automation. According to to Koo, the goal is for the agency to offer solutions that connect marketing performance and customer experiences to business results. Prior to ADK, Koo was with Falcon since 2016. 

In 2019, ADK also underwent a rebranding which saw Asatsu-DK (ADK) Holdings adopting a new name for its Singapore subsidiary business, as well as the launch of a new company in Indonesia under the name ADK Connect Emotions Indonesia. As part of the rebranding process, ADK also appointed  Osaki as its CEO of ADK Connect Singapore.
