Kantar, a global platform specialising in marketing data and analytics, has appointed Andy Gallagher (pictured) as its new head of creative and media business in Singapore. This marks Gallagher’s second stint at Kantar, having previously worked across the firm’s EU and US markets.
With experience spanning global publishers, advertisers, and measurement platforms, Gallagher will play a key role in strengthening Kantar’s media capabilities in the region. A regular speaker at industry events, Gallagher is also recognised as a thought leader in campaign performance and touchpoint strategy, according to a statement seen by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE.
Gallagher brings over two decades of experience in media strategy, creative effectiveness, and analytics. Prior to this, he led the ad measurement business at Amazon Ads in London, where he served as the go-to-market lead for measurement across Europe. In that role, he advised on both first- and third-party measurement solutions, helping advertisers and agencies unlock brand value through data.

Before his first role at Kantar, Gallagher held a nearly eight-year-long stint at NBCUniversal Media, LLC in 2006, where he worked as a senior marketing research analyst before being elevated to the company's director of marketing research and audience insights. Additionally, he held marketing research roles at USA TODAY and The Washington Post.
"I'm thrilled to have Gallagher join us at Kantar Singapore. With his deep expertise across media strategy, creative effectiveness and analytics, combined with a strong entrepreneurial mindset, he brings a powerful edge to our team," said Jane Ng, general manager, insights division at Kantar Singapore.
She added, "His leadership will be instrumental in elevating our creative and media offer and enriching our client partnerships. I'm excited about the role he will play in shaping the future of insights, helping brands navigate an increasingly complex media landscape with confidence and clarity."
Commenting on his role, Gallagher said, "I am thrilled to have re-joined Kantar as dead of creative and media effectiveness. As part of the new role, I've relocated to Singapore to lead the team and am excited to return to this best-in-class organization to help lead & drive strategy for the Singapore business. I look forward to collaborating with both regional and global clients to shape the future of their brands and provide guidance on data-driven, strategic business decisions."
Gallagher's new role in Singapore follows shortly after Kantar's appointment of Nadya Ardianti as its new managing director for its Indonesian operations, marking a fresh chapter for the firm in one of Southeast Asia's most dynamic consumer markets.
Ardianti took over from Suresh Subramanian, who was instrumental in accelerating Kantar's business growth and deepening client relationships across the archipelago. Subramanian stepped down after over 18 years with the company to establish his own consulting firm.
