Kantar has appointed Nitin Nishandar (pictured) to the newly-created role of chief commercial officer of its Insights division – comprising Kantar TNS and Kantar Millward Brown. His role covers Southeast Asia, North Asia and the Pacific.
Nishandar takes over from Jon Foged, who was recently named Kantar CEO in Australia. The role also reflects Kantar’s desire to deliver “world-class client impact” in a way that answers the needs of businesses in Asia, a statement read.
In his new role, Nishandar will spearhead the strategy and execution on key accounts, as well as new business development. This is to ensure collaboration across Kantar and the strong delivery of insights that help clients make effective decisions.
He has also been appointed the CEO of Vietnam, where he will partner with MD of Kantar Millward Brown Vietnam, Phil Worthington, and MD of Kantar TNS, Ashish Kanchan, to support to continued strength and development of the teams in the country.
“Having worked in a number of different markets across Asia, I’m conscious of the variety of challenges that our clients are facing and the need to adapt as a business to deliver actionable insights that help our clients grow,” Nishandar said.
