Kai Tak Sports Park, supported by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, is rolling out the "Kai Tak Sports Park Halloween Party" across Dining Cove and Kai Tak Mall over the coming weekends.

Blending trending youth subcultures with family and pet-friendly cosplay activities, celebrity-hosted market stalls and dynamic night-time soundscapes, the event aims to offer a unique Halloween experience for visitors of all ages.

Fusing anime subculture with Hong Kong heritage, local comic artist Wai On reinterprets his celebrated title “Supernatural world” into a haunted photo experience, drawing inspiration from iconic vintage public housing designs with flickering fluorescent lights.

Meanwhile, the artisan exhibition at atrium of Kai Tak Mall 2 brings together three seasoned cross-media cosplayers to display elaborate bespoke gear, prop weaponry, and creative apparel, highlighting the depth of home-grown artistic talent.

Infusing the family and pet economy into the Halloween party, the "Halloween cosplay party," choreographed by dance director Grace Liu, brings energy and interactive moments to visitors along the promenade. Families, children, and their pets are invited to model imaginative looks during the "Halloween family and pet cosplay catwalk." Complementing the main stage action are quirky pet costumes and a classic cha chaan teng photo installation infused with nostalgic neon decor, creating heartwarming and highly photogenic memories for visitors and their animal companions.

On 24 and 31 October, rapper takes the stage at Cantopop beats and street dance battles, unleashing the "Halloween music show", a high voltage musical feast centred on Cantopop, featuring popular Cantonese hits and classic anime soundtracks. Set against a neon lit stage design overlooking Victoria Harbour, the coastal experience transitions seamlessly from golden hour busking to late night DJ sets. Complementing the soundscape, local dance crews deliver hip hop group performances and intense dance battles, offering visitors and tourists an electrifying festive nightlife experience along the iconic harbourfront.

Spanning pet accessories, wellness goods, and local food stalls, the marketplace also offers makeover services.
