Alcohol brand Johnnie Walker has appointed global PR and social media agency W as its new agency partner to drive insightful and creative campaigns. The brief will see W Singapore work closely with the Johnnie Walker team to champion local tastemakers and collaborate with impactful brands shaping Singapore’s cultural scene.
Spanning the entire whisky portfolio, the campaign will include Johnnie Walker Gold, Blue, Black and Red Label, as well as the prestigious John Walker & Sons XR 21.
Celebrating its fifth year in Singapore next year, W also opened a second wholly-owned Southeast Asian office in Kuala Lumpur in July, with additional regional openings in the pipeline. The win adds to the existing blue-chip clients under W’s direction, including Red Bull, Pizza Hut and Diageo.
Warren Johnson, CEO and founder of W Communications, said of the past year “has been an incredible year” for the team in Singapore.
“What started out four years ago with a small team and a handful of clients is now the regional hub for a growing network in Asia. The continued addition of regional briefs for blue-chip brands is a testament to the team’s creative vision and hard work,” he added.
