The new academic year starts in Hong Kong today but students are not allowed to go back to school due to the ongoing pandemic. They are required to participate in home schooling but the learning process may be hampered without a physical learning environment.
To address this, virtual insurance company Bowtie has featured its senior advisor, John Tsang, to hold a virtual school opening ceremony for kindergarten and primary school students.

Tsang also wrote a letter to parents to express his ideas about home learning and give advice on education.
"We hope to offer mental support by reminding all families that their willingness to believe in the future is already the bravest act. We are leveraging education tips from Tsang to (help) everyone prepare for the new self-protection era," said Basil Cheung, senior manager of branding and creative at Bowtie.
