Jewelmer fashion show garners 3M twitter impressions

Global jewelry brand Jewelmer Joaillerie has extended the catwalk to the digital space this month to unveil its Spring/Summer Collection for 2014.

The fashion show was streamed live and broadcasted over Twitter and Instagram via its digital AOR Havas Media Ortega (HVMO).

HVMO reported that the gala generated an estimated three million Twitter impressions for the night, which was a 650% increase from last year’s event.

Jewelmer was also a hit in Instagram, amassing over 700 photos posted on the Internet, allowing people to witness the brand’s new collection globally.

“We are honored to be a partner of Jewelmer as it creates shared value for the global community by showcasing the best of Filipino talent and craftsmanship. As always, the Jewelmer Gala presented the best of Philippine fashion with collections from top Filipino designers to the finest Golden South Sea pearls, Kankan Ramos-Lim, executive director of HVMO, said.

The models were styled by top Filipino fashion designers, Ivarluski Aseron, Rhett Eala, JC Buendia, Patrice Ramos-Diaz, Randy Ortiz, Jojie Lloren, Francis Libiran, Jun Escario and Albert Andrada.

Designs in the show were inspired by Jewelmer’s collection of rare golden South Sea pearls found only in the Philippines, which are sustainably cultivated as part of the brands’ ecological advocacies.
