Jericho Digital sets up locally

Multichannel comms agency Jericho Digital Communications, a subsidiary of Asia Pacific Digital, has extended its reach into Asia by opening up an office in Singapore.

The agency has named Paula Harrison as CEO of Jericho Asia.

Prior to joining Jericho, Harrison (pictured) was the managing director of Returnity, an Australian agency specialising in digital marketing solutions since 2004.

Jerico has also hired Sonia Tay as head of client services in Singapore. Tay is responsible for steering and delivering digital strategy and services to clients. Before Jericho, Tay led the consulting and client engagement team for KatalystM, a leading Asian lifecycle marketing agency. She has over 18 years of strategic marketing and management consulting experience and brings a world-class vision for life cycle marketing.

Jerico provides services in direct communications, mobile and social. It has offices in Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney and services clients in the region including Ford, Qantas, Telecom New Zealand and Australia Post.

Harrison said the opening of the Singapore office allows the agency to offer its clients an "end-to-end digital communications solution across the region" and in the past 12 months the agency has expanded the brand into Australia and is now experiencing strong demand for technology, analytics and creative services in SEA.

Asia Pacific Digital's Singapore-based chairman, Roger Sharp, added: "We're pleased to have launched Jericho in Singapore, which we see as the ideal hub for our Southeast Asian operations.  Today the group has Asian offices in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Manila and Shanghai, and is enjoying strong growth across its offering of Strategies and Solutions, Customer Acquisition and CRM. "

Asia Pacific Digital also has seven wholly and partly-owned businesses: Next Digital, dgm, Empowered Communications, Jericho, SMART, Interface IT and CWA.
